Knee Replacement (Total)

Dr. Moore, I am writing this note to you to thank you for extending my quality of life and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you.
Firstly, two years ago you replaced my right knee, which had been very painful for several years; shortly after surgery I was able to not only walk up Uluru and snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, as well as hike where Sir Edmund Hillary hiked in New Zealand, with my precious daughter, Heather, who passed away shortly after that trip. What a blessing that was for me.
Last December, you operated on my left knee and I have recently returned from a fabulous month in the Nordic countries of Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. I was able to walk up mountains in the Fjords, on cobble stone roads, uphill and down roads, church steps by the hundreds, off and on buses, trains and boats without any pain or discomfort whatsoever. I even took a folding walking stick with me just in case I needed one, but I never even took the stick out of my suitcase.
Thank you hardly seems strong enough word to express my gratitude to you for giving me, at my age (soon to be 83 in September) a new lease on life. I suffered with both knees for years and finally bit the bullet and had them replaced. The only thing I regret is not having knee replacement surgery done sooner.
Never the less, I just had to say how blessed I am that the Good Lord brought you into my life and you were the perfect surgeon to help fix my knees and relieve the pain.
In March of 2020 I am going to Ethiopia with my niece who is a nurse with Doctors Without Borders for Children. I am really looking forward to that trip and helping those precious children who need help desperately. I don't know what my task will be yet, but just the fact that I am able to get around so well, without pain, is the reason I am able to travel.
Thank you again for helping me, a woman in my 80's, with a new lease on life!
