Knee Replacement (Total)
The day I walked into Dr. Cain's office for a second opinion, I knew that if he confirmed that a total knee replacement was my only option, he would be the one doing it. The staff and the environment was unlike my previous experiences and I knew they would take care of me. If I called with a question, they called back with an answer. If I called with a concern, they called back with a comforting response.
On the day of the surgery, they did all the right things to make me feel comfortable and the 2 days I spent in the hospital after the surgery the doctors and staff were so awesome. They checked on me, and they sent me home with the proper equipment to strengthen my knee. If they would have let me, I could have walked out of the hospital. Dr. Cain repaired my knee and I don't hurt like I used to before the surgery. It's still tender in places but I know that will decrease with time.
I am so thankful that I went to Andrews Sports Medicine and St. Vincent's to have this surgery. Now I tell everyone that I know if they need any orthopedic work done to call 205-939-3699 and they won't be sorry they did!
