Conditions + Treatments
On May 24, 2015, I fell while going up for a lay-up in the game I love...basketball. The morning of May 26, I got in to see Dr. Jeffrey Dugas and he confirmed my right knee had a tibial tubercle avulsion fracture. That afternoon, I was being prepped for surgery. The surgery was successful, so I started therapy the very next day.
After approximately 2 months of therapy, I was cleared to get back to training for the upcoming season. Here we are one week away from the first game of my varsity season. I owe a huge thanks to Dr. Dugas and the staff at Andrews Sports Medicine for getting me back in the game that I love ...basketball.
