On October 26, 2017, we walked into Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center devastated. We had driven 7 hours from Lafayette, Louisiana for a third opinion about Zachary's knee. You read the reports, looked at the MRI, then walked in the room to meet us. The first words you spoke to us were "This is not a football ending injury." For the first time in a week, we were able to exhale. We scheduled the surgery for the very next day.
We just want you to know how very thankful we are for you and the entire team at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center. Zachary was not able to finish out his junior year of football but, after surgery and following your directives about rehab he did return to compete his senior year. A senior year with a 14-0 record I might add.
Last night, we had the privilege of watching him lead his team, the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights, to a victory during the LHSAA Division IV State Championship game at the New Orleans Super Dome.
Zachary was also named the MVP, the outstanding player of the championship game. He had the game of his life. I immediately thought of you and your team. This moment would not have been possible without you. We are so grateful that God sent people in our path that directed us to Andrews Sports Medicine Center and that He had picked you to repair Zachary's knee. There are no words that could adequately express our gratitude to you.
Thank you will have to suffice. Zachary's Friday nights have ended, but he will soon be making a decision where he would like to play college football, and we will be enjoying our Saturday nights for at least 4 more years, thanks to you and our heavenly father.
Thank you again. I thought you may like to read the attached article.
