We are excited to announce that we have hired two new Occupational Therapists to work in the Hand Therapy Department.

The Hand Therapy Department is currently expanding to the existing Andrews Sports Medicine’s Pelham and Trussville clinic locations. Growing this service has been accomplished through the addition of two new Occupational Therapists, Jonathan Berry, M.S. OTR/L, CHT and Quinn Malbrough, M.S OTR/L.

Both Jonathan and Quinn are licensed Occupational Therapists and are certified as practitioners in upper extremity dry needling. Jonathan and Quinn are set to join Kramer Hodges and Holly Koster in the department. “We are excited to have two new additions to our team” said Kramer Hodges, Occupational Therapist and Clinical Operations Manager, “We have seen such a growth in this service and having Jonathan and Quinn join our team will enable us to treat more patients at more convenient locations”.

Both Jonathan and Quinn will work with Dr. Christopher Beaumont and Dr. Kathleen McKeon, as well as our other surgical and non-surgical physicians who have injuries of the elbow, wrist and hand.

“It’s exciting to be a part of the growing service within Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center,” said Berry and Malbrough, “to be able to expand hand therapy to multiple of Andrews satellite locations and gain the ability to treat more patients is an honor. We are eager to work alongside several talented physicians and Occupational Therapists as we contribute our expertise and deliver exceptional patient care”.

Jonathan Berry:

Jonathan graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science. He then went on to complete his Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of South Alabama. Berry is also certified in hand therapy, specialized rehabilitation of the upper limb that combines comprehensive knowledge of upper extremity anatomy and pathology with function and activity.

He especially enjoys custom splint fabrication, post-operative care, Dry Needling, athletic injuries, and forming encouraging relationships with his patients during their progress.

Jonathan will be seeing patients at our Pelham clinic location.

Quinn graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and Fitness studies, along with a minor in Business Administration. He then went on to complete his Master’s of Science at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Quinn has also completed a Hand Therapy Fellowship at Ochsner in New Orleans.

He especially enjoys both conservative and post-operative care, custom splint fabrication, Dry Needling, and collaborating with each patient individually to maximize their recovery.

Quinn will be seeing patients at our Trussville location.
