MRI Center

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic imagining tool that allows our providers to properly diagnose injuries. MRI's can be utilized to examine bones, joints, cartilage, muscle, tendons, and ligaments.

MRI's will typically be ordered after meeting with one of our providers, if needed. Currently, we have our own MRI machine located at our Hoover- HWY 280 clinic location with two highly-trained MRI technologists.

MRI CLOTHING GUIDELINES

Any individual undergoing an MRI procedure must remove all readily removable metallic personal belongings, and clothing items which may contain metallic fasteners, hooks, zippers, loose metallic components or metallic threads.

It is vital that you remove metallic objects in advance of an MRI exam, including watches, jewelry and items of clothing that have metallic threads or fasteners.

You will undergo an interview by a member of our MRI facility to ensure your safety by answering questions on the screening form. Even if you have undergone an MRI procedure before at this or another facility, you will still be asked to answer questions from the MRI screening form.
