A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is a therapist who has a minimum of three years of clinical experience, including more than 4,000 hours in direct practice in upper extremity care. In addition, a CHT has successfully passed a comprehensive post-professional exam of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper extremity rehabilitation. Because of progression in the field, every CHT is required to demonstrate continued professional development and competency by recertifying every five years.
Connor works in the Hand therapy department as an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). He is located at our Birmingham clinic, and collaborates with orthopedic surgeons Dr. Christopher Beaumont and Dr. Kathleen McKeon, as well as many of our other surgical and non-surgical physicians who have injuries of the elbow, wrist, and hand.
